Project Management

We actually enjoy thinking along with our customers. Designing, developing and implementing strong concepts that are both technically and financially sound is our strength. We have learned that every project requires a unique approach. The difference in scope, scale and complexity of a project may ask for a different approach in terms of planning and project management. But despite these differences, every project has a similar goal: getting the job done, on time and on budget!

Communication

When all is settled we can start the design and engineering process, keeping you up-to-date of the project status at all times. It’s needless to say, this whole process is being fully documented. During the desing process we will carefully listen to your remarks so we can determine how our designs can be optimized.

The Design Process

The first step in any design process is for us to understand the customer’s application and its requirements. ITSs people will sit together with the customer and will translate system requirements into component requirements that will guide the design efforts. From initial discussions, the feasibility and the target performance of any design project will be formulated. As soon as target specifications are clear for all parties, the design can start. The full design process typically includes preliminary and critical design reviews with the customer, to ensure project success. During the design process and depending on the actual content of the project, ITS will make opto-mechanical drawings, software architectures, perform detailed digital simulations, produces physical layout, and verifies that all requirements have been met.

Production Support

Once a design project is finalized, ITS will move the design into production phase and delivery of products will be scheduled according the customer’s needs. Test reports will be delivered for each product as agreed with the customer during the definition of the design phase.
