What is SiteKiosk?
SiteKiosk is so-called "kiosk browsing software". It´s an application dat allows a user to have a safe and stable browsing experience. SiteKiosk acts like a "shell" around Microsoft Internet Explorer. This means that all websites and webbased applications that work well under Internet Explorer, will behave in the same way with SiteKiosk. It´s up to you to configure what websites can and cannot be accessed.
Safe Environment
SiteKiosk also acts as a security system for the kiosk unit itself. When using SiteKiosk, a user cannot access the Microsoft Windows environment directly. Access can only be obtained by entering a certain keycombination and password. It also is impossible to download, e-mail or print if this functionality has been restricted in the SiteKiosk management module. Thru this security principle it´s absolutely safe to hook up an information kiosk to a company network without risk.
Appearance of the Interface
The SiteKiosk administrator has the priviliges to configure what the user interface should look like. It´s possible to show a website full screen, or with a visible navigationbar. Also the configuration of a custom homepage, that launches websites or applications is a functionality.

Detection & Automatic Recovery
Crashes, errors and problems can be tracked and solved quickly and easily.
Log-out Management
After every session, SiteKiosk returns to it´s homepage automatically. All windows and applications are closed and the browsing history, as well as all cookies are deleted.
Remote Management
With SiteRemote, a plug-in for SiteKiosk, you´re able to track the usage, reboot, and alter the configuration of the kiosk remotely.
Screensaver
This functionallity allows for customized digital signage to be shown when the kiosk is not in use. All parameters are highly configurable.
